Q1 2021 Performance of Top Investing Apps on iOS in Brazil

In the first quarter of 2021, Brazil's iOS platform saw significant activity in the Investing and Financial Management category. Sensor Tower's data showcases how the top applications performed during this period.

IQ Broker experienced a peak in downloads reaching 28K in the last week of January, followed by a gradual decline to 13K by the end of March. Weekly active users showed an impressive increase, starting at 37K and reaching a high of 75K in the same week of January, before stabilizing around 64K towards the end of the quarter.

XP Investimentos, a home-grown Brazilian app, also saw an upward trend in downloads, with a notable jump from 7K to 17K between mid-March and the end of the quarter. The app's active users remained robust, starting at 130K and surging to a peak of 167K in the penultimate week of March.

The cryptocurrency platform Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto observed a fluctuating download pattern, with a significant spike to 14K in early March. The weekly active users for Binance grew consistently, from around 14K at the start of the quarter to an impressive 45K by the end of March.

Binomo showed a steady increase in downloads, peaking at around 6.5K in the middle of March, and active users peaked at 8.4K in the same period, before experiencing a dip towards the end of the quarter.

Lastly, IQ Option had a shorter time frame reported but still managed to gather data in the last month of the quarter. Downloads rose from 7.4K in the first week of March to 12K in the last week, with active users showing a remarkable increase from 46K to 68K in the same timeframe.
